Science 9  |  The Scientific Method

I will introduce the expectations for Laboratory Write Ups before I introduce a follow-up to the Gum Lab.

Environmental Science 20 |  Documentary

Today, the class will watch a video titled "Earth's Climate:  Back to the Future."  This video is part three from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute Lecture Series, “Changing Planet:  Past, Present, Future.”

Students will complete this assignment as they watch the video.

Because many students are away picking sage, I have decided to postpone the video until tomorrow.  Today, students may use the class time to complete the Climate Terminology assignment from yesterday and submit it to the Canvas Page.  

Students who have not submitted the Current Events Assignment from last week will complete a Late Work Makeup Contract.

Also . . . 

 . . . I have distributed a permission form for Monday's trip to the University of Saskatchewan for a Conversation with David Suzuki.  Please return the permission form, signed by a parent or guardian before Monday, September 19, 2016.

Health Science 20 |  Biography of a Medical Pioneer

I will complete my introduction of the History of Medicine.  When finished, students will begin this assignment.  Students will work either as individuals or in pairs.  Each group will research a different medical pioneer.
