Science 10  |  Acceleration Due to Gravity

You will be supplied with GoMotion Probeware and the following items:

• Ping Pong Ball
• Metal Ball Bearing

Your task is to:

Determine which object will have the greater rate of acceleration as gravity pulls it down a 1 meter long, 15 % incline.

As you collect the data to examine the above problem, you will include the following as part of your lab discussion:

1. A Distance - Time graph for each of the above items as gravity pulls them down a 15% incline
2. A Velocity - Time graph for each of the above items as gravity pulls them down a 15% incline

Your finding will be submitted as a Scientific Inquiry Lab
