Science 10  |  Reactions Lab

Students will research the reaction of the Reactions Lab.

Hint for Copper and Penny Reaction:

Black copper oxide CuO reacts with acetic acid CH3COOH (inside vinegar) forming copper acetate Cu(CH3COO)2 and water:

CuO + 2CH3COOH  --> Cu(CH3COO)2 + H2O

Environmental Science 20 |  Food Sources

Today, the class will venture to the Saskatoon Farmer's Market to collect data for the Food Sources Lab. 

Students will meet in the classroom at 10:00 am sharp, then walk as a group to the Farmer's Market.  Students may not drive their own vehicles to the venue.

Signed parent consent forms must be returned to Mr. Lewchuk in order to participate in this experience.
